What Wedding Flowers Actually Cost in Bangkok
Build a wedding flower budget from a defined item list, setup and collection requirements, instead of unsupported citywide price ranges.
The useful wedding flower price is a quote for your venue, date and scope. We have not collected dated equivalent Bangkok wedding quotes that establish a typical total or a reliable percentage of the overall wedding budget.
Build an item list
Count personal flowers separately: the bridal bouquet, attendants' bouquets, boutonnières and corsages. Then list ceremony arrangements, aisle pieces, reception tables, entrance, signing table and any installations.
For each item, record quantity, approximate size, colour direction and any required flowers. Include the vessel or structure where relevant. Guest count helps planning, but table count and placement dimensions are also needed.
Include the work around the flowers
Ask whether the quote covers delivery, unloading, setup, on-site adjustments, moving arrangements between spaces and removal afterwards. Confirm whether vessels and frames are hired or purchased, and who is responsible for returning them.
Do not assume one supplier's quote includes the same crew or service window as another's. We do not assign a fixed share of the total to labour, flowers or structure without actual cost evidence.
Compare the same version of the brief
Send the same item list and venue information to each supplier. If a proposal changes the design, identify that change before comparing the total. A foliage-led installation and a fully flowered structure may both be attractive, but they are not identical scopes.
Ask for the validity period, payment schedule, substitution process and change deadlines. Keep venue charges and supplier charges distinguishable so the same item is not counted twice or omitted.
Reduce scope where it matters least to you
Choose your priorities with the people involved. You may prefer a strong entrance, personal flowers or table arrangements. Fewer placements, smaller pieces or a flexible flower selection are options to request as separately priced alternatives.
Repurposing ceremony flowers can be worth discussing, but it requires a plan: who moves them, when, where they fit and whether the design can tolerate the move. Do not assume the saving is a fixed percentage or that moving them costs nothing.
Plan the practical conditions
Share setup and removal windows, loading access, outdoor exposure and a rain alternative where relevant. If the wedding has distinct ceremonies, list the flowers for each rather than assuming one package covers both.
For DIY elements, include tools, vessels, transport, storage and the time of whoever is helping. Decide who will carry out those tasks while the couple is preparing.
