Songkran flowers and gifts
Songkran, 13 to 15 April, is when younger people visit their elders, pour scented water over their hands and ask for a blessing. The flowers are jasmine and rose, in a garland or floating in the water bowl, and the gift is something practical — a hamper, fruit, a relaxation set. We string fresh malai for the week.
